Hello! My name is Jocelyn Hsin-Ju Yang (楊欣儒) (she/her).
I was born and raised in Taiwan and I am currently based in Lenapehoking (Brooklyn, NY) working as an educator, community organizer, and ceramist.
I advocate for equity and justice through a participant-centered practice that is trauma-informed, anti-racist, and culturally responsive. My mission is to nurture community and foster collective learning in spaces where everyone feels seen and supported. Above all, I believe in the power of shared joy to make our exploration of the world truly meaningful.

I founded ART WITH PANDA to provide process-based art education programs, both in-person and online, for Mandarin-speaking communities in New York and Taipei. The programs not only bring Mandarin-speaking immigrant families together but also nurture cultural identity through art among children of immigrants.
In addition to ART WITH PANDA, I work as a learning specialist at the Museum of Modern Art, providing facilitated experiences for K-12 and intergenerational audiences. Prior to this role, I worked at the Brooklyn Museum, the Museum of Arts and Design, the Rubin Museum of Art, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
I received an MA in museum education and art history from the City College of New York, CUNY.
I write about museum and art education for ArtCo Kids, a Mandarin media platform focusing on art and education.

La Vie is a Taiwanese magazine specializing in design and culture. I designed and facilitated a workshop for the April issue feature “Design for the Next Generation," which also included an interview, “Create Your Own Design.”
